Regarding the massage... saw someone who'd not had a massage in 20 years but had chronic pain. Amazing how an hour of treatment can be so relaxing, and some of the things that are easy and straightforward from my perspective can make such a difference. That's it. It's one of the most rewarding things about this line of work -- when clients can work with me to make a difference in their own lives. Things like: you mean if I just hold my hand this way it relieves the pain? I never thought of that! or the highly rewarding I don't believe it, it doesn't hurt any more response. They're all good... although my cynical side kicks in when I'm called an angel.
