Some Days we are the Mother of Dragons

and some days we have the Mother of All Colds.

Guess which day this is for me.

Yesterday my husband said "take some Nyquil. It won't knock you out at all." An hour later I was fast asleep for three and a half hours. I did take more before I went to bed, and don't remember a thing (have I mentioned I tend to react very strongly to most medications? No? Well, now you know). I'm cold but running hot, with that half-in-the-bag feeling that's only worth celebrating if you've earned it the hard way, drinking all night. I wish I could say that was the case!

- the NaNoWriMo home page is finally updated, so I went ahead and created my November novel.
- I'm 2 points away from the ending in the Cave of the Nadir storyline in FL, but I have to battle my opponents first. I can't imagine that will go well. Thanks, game.
- In general, I hurt. Like... my face hurts. My hairline hurts. My joints hurt. This cold sucks.
