Procrastination
Feb. 20th, 2014 06:19 pmI'm so good at procrastinating. I do it like a champ.
If there was a world title for procrastination, I'd be in the running for the crown.
Ultimately, though, I did what I wanted, writing-wise. Got to 4158 words, and I'm putting it away for the day before I drive myself crazy. All this on a day after the worst night's (lack of) sleep I can remember, and also a day of chronic pain. It's no fun, I tell you.

I'm not one for reading period romances as a rule, but I just started The Lotus Palace by Jeannie Lin (mostly because it was $.99 the other day, but also because I have an abiding interest in Chinese history and a Chinese family in part). I'm intrigued! That's a good sign. I'll let you know what I thought when I finish.

Time for Advil. Hope all of you are doing well.
