Will Work for Coffee
Feb. 9th, 2014 11:32 amI'm not a morning person, unless I have good motivation for it. Today, I did: after years of knowing each other online, I finally got to meet ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
mafdet. We had a long-standing date to meet for breakfast, and voila. Another cat person! (Cat people just get it on so many levels.)
I'm rarely accused of being an introvert. Even though I engage in a lot of solitary pursuits, I'm a pretty sociable person. I'm never sure how I come across to other people online and I know text-based conversation is a slushpile of misinterpretation just waiting to happen. BUT. We had such a lovely time! I think we must've said "okay, gotta get going" about five times before we lapsed into even more conversation. That was fun.
Now I'm greedy, I need more in-person contact in my life! Thanks,mafdet for driving to meet me. Next time I'll come up closer to where you are.
In unrelated news, I have a cat climbing my back to perch on my shoulders.
