Fandom Fun

In a fit of nostalgia (or maybe just to pull myself out of the desert of non-fandom things) I've been having a resurgence of love for a lot of fandoms. Last year was the first time Cowboy Bebop was Yuletide-eligible and I got a great Bebop/Go the Fuck to Sleep crossover. This year I requested and offered Bebop. Because I'd offered it, I rewatched the whole thing over the course of a day or two with lostinapapercup who's my partner in just about all things fannish. We've also been rewatching some Lost and some Battlestar Galactica (my heart). Independently, I'm working my way through Last Exile, which surprisingly is even better than I remembered from the other times I saw it (Lavie and Claus aren't bothering me nearly as much this time around). I'm having a blast!

I got a beautiful piece of fanfiction based on one of my original works from scribble_myname, which was such a happy thing to receive. It's such a kick thinking that some of my original characters inspired someone else to write about them. Luckily for me I'm not prone to blushing.

I'm also really appreciative of jules1278 for leaving kudos on so many of my Yuletide stories, and to lordoflorien for leaving such thoughtful comments on all my Yuletide fics. Thank you, lovely ladies!
