Jul. 30th, 2012 11:19 pmOh, you guys, I got the best story in the NPT exchange. It's a Kate/Sawyer story, the prompt was something about Cassidy being their common off-island bond, what if they discovered that while they were on the island? how would it happen, what would it lead to, something like that (I don't know, it was a long time ago). My author did the best job incorporating that right into canon for me. Reading it was like seeing a deleted scenes reel, but the kind where you go why didn't they leave that in? That part's awesome!
It's called Flight Risk and if you watched Lost at all, you should read it sooner rather than later. The characterization is beautiful, and so are Sawyer's new nicknames for Freckles. (OK, so I know who my mystery author is, because no one else writes these characters like this person, and I am so lucky they wrote for me! But in the spirit of the thing I'm going to pretend I don't know until the reveal.)
In turn, I wrote a few things but I can't tell you about them yet. I think we have a week to go on that. But in the meantime I was looking over the tutorial on running collections and exchanges on AO3 and I'm pretty sure I'm going to want to run![[community profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/community.png)

Other news: I ordered a dress from Modcloth. And some boots. My wishlist there is already huge. I want to tell my sweetheart see, this is what happens when you're channel surfing and stop on What Not to Wear. I start thinking about dressing differently, then I go buy clothes.
Yeah.
OK. One more fic exchange (ours! which is the best one!) and then I promised myself no more until Yuletide. I have original stuff I'm working on! and RPing to do, and pictures of Savannah & Little St. Simon's to finish organizing and put into web albums for everyone's viewing pleasure.
