Jun. 16th, 2007 01:50 pmWitih regards to the currently circulating memes:
1. Yes, I love you all. I wouldn't have met most of you if it wasn't for the internet, so the meme kind of goes without saying.
2. If I've pissed you off in the past and you didn't tell me about it then, too bad. And too late now.
Hector's still gone. For those of you who don't know, he was a gift kitty from my older sister after I lost my cat Stones to cancer. Hector is about the most ornery cat in the world as an indoor cat, but he's sweet and mellow when he's allowed outside. He's gone out every single day and come back if not every single night, then the following morning except for one time: when we were doing construction on the house, he went out one day when they had the siding off. He ended up being stuck underneath the house in a crawl-space, and couldn't get back out because they'd covered up his entry. Yes, that was the first place I looked when he was missing, but there's no way for critters to get in there on a normal non-construction day. He's just... gone.
I hope he turns up. Thanks for everyone who left good wishes about him.
Hannah graduated! It's been a fun-filled week of activity: she had no school but a birthday party on Monday, then a half-day on Tuesday, then a field trip with the class (I went along) followed by graduation on Wednesday followed by dinner out with
wheatland_press and her family to celebrate, then Thursday was field day (I stayed for that) followed by laser tag for Hannah and her group of good buddies. And yesterday there was no school but there was this annoying little entity called work, and the same today, and here I am, finally, and it's summer and school's out and I haven't been able to sleep late yet, and next week is her first camp (a painting camp for the curious) from 9-4 every day. And I'm working. And then next weekend I'm going to California for 4 days.
And then I can relax.
And then Caleb's coming to visit.
Mitch got back from India in time for Hannah's graduation. He's miserable with allergies right now but luckily for him, he's traveling again next week so he won't have to put up with it the whole time. He's also traveling the week after. I laugh when he tells me his job is only 40% travel.
It's been a while since I did one of these filled-with-random updates. My hair is blonde for the summer, so yeah, you can let the blonde jokes fly.
And then I'm going to have to kill you for them. You all know i'm green-haired at heart.
