Lorna, dear, you're supposed to let people know when it's your birthday so we can shower you with adoration and affection. Of course, we can do that any day but in the guise of all things birthday-related, those days are pretty darn special.
Even in the middle of snowstorms.
So without further ado, I bring you the one-day-late version of your Official LJ Birthday Wish thing that I like to do. Here goes:

May you decide to come visit the beautiful Pacific northwest. (I get to sneak in at least one self-serving wish, of course.) May there be endless lifetime platinum. My your year be filled with all kinds of love and good excitement and good books and good movies, good travel, good adventures, and... yeah. That stuff. ♥
(Now, to mark this on my calendar so I'm not late next year. No: we just say a birthday worth celebrating is a birthday worth stretching out for days and days.)
