Today, so far, so good. It was my turn to have a massage and that's a really good thing. My favorite massage therapist is open and in business about 10 minutes from my house and since today was her first day, I got to be her first paying client. From now on, though, we're going to be trading massages every other week. I know lots of massage therapists, but I only know a few good ones.
Color me content with that.
In other news, it's time for a pimp (no, not that type of pimp; I'm a whore for some things but I've got my limits). If you like to write and NaNo isn't eating your brain; if you can prove yourself strong on characterization; if you like to take your time; if you like to put a lot of care into your play; if you want somewhere small to play; if you can deal with a scifi setting: consider this. It's fun enough to be illegal. I'll give you the disclaimer that the mods (*cough*) are picky and come complete with a small set of expectations, butwe're they're not unreasonable at all. I should list the testimonials from the thousands who've claimed it helps their writing! but I won't.

janeylou for the bath stuff, to hfleming8 for the box o' goodies, to wheatland_press for the music, to sff_corgi for the dinner, to lostinapapercup for the company. Yesterday, my sweetheart (aka "International Man of Mystery") took me to Sinju for sushi and appetizers as a belated birthday celebration. Damn, was that sushi chef all kinds of adorable. No, I'm not a complete sucker for Japanese men. Just mostly. He was way too old for me anyhow, but he was still all kinds of adorable. That's a very fun restaurant, but spendy. Then, while waiting for the birthday party Hannah was at to be over, we went across the street to the new Whole Foods market where we basically signed over our life's savings for three bags of overpriced groceries. Then, while still waiting for the birthday party Hannah was at to be over, we went back across the street again and hung out for a while at Border's. Yeah. Good birthday.
My sister sent me an Amazon GC so I ordered myself Sims 2 for December, when I'm cut up and cranky and post-surgical and don't feel like doing anything constructive.
Like today.
