My little bearito is back home from outdoor school. They were on the Oregon Coast for a week, and I was waiting at school when the bus pulled in and the door opened and all the fifth- and sixth-graders let out a big old cheer. It was so adorable. Hannah's teacher said that two minutes out of the parking lot on Monday morning, Hannah was just fine. Hannah herself even said she had a good time the first time I asked her, but then all the transgressions started getting remembered and it became less fun in retrospect. But she did it! She did so well. She seems to have made it back home with all her stuff: tired and grungy but happy to get home. One of the first things she did when she got here was take a bath.
It's just adorable. I missed her greatly and I'm glad she's home. And tomorrow after Dad leaves for the airport and India we're going to see Ice Age 2 and I promised her Kingdom Hearts II once she got back, and here she is. Right now she's sitting here watching cartoons, eating Doritos, and doodling in her doodle book.
So, yesterday I wrote that I was going to talk about RP. Today I will.
( Lots of roleplay-related stuff behind the cut )Happy Passover and happy Easter holiday, everyone. And if you celebrate neither? Happy weekend! Something good for everyone.
