Yeah.

I had lots of things I was going to say. But *poof* they're all gone, just like that. Disappeared right out of my brain. This is what happens when I get a day to actually sleep late and wake up automatically before I would normally have to.

Fuuuuuuuck.

I think it was [livejournal.com profile] voxmaille who used the phrase "fuck o'clock" and I liked it so much I stole it and use it whenever I can. It has to be early in the morning, though: so instead of saying tomorrow I need to wake up at 6:00, even though my daughter has no school, I could say tomorrow I need to wake up and be out of the house by fuck o'clock. That sucks on a holiday.

It has attitude and I like it a lot so thank you, my friend. Even though I'm very tired just now and could just curl up and go to bed early.

HEY! There's a concept.

Let's see, how can I update everyone without boring you to tears? See, I'm not feeling so very creative, and I'm certainly glad I didn't try to do NaNoWriMo. November is the worst possible month for that (I only mean for me personally), because I always have that week of happy!family!reunion over Thanksgiving. This year is no exception. I also have my doubts that I would be able to turn out 50,000 words in a month that both a) worked and b) satisfied me. See, I'm a compulsive editor. I love editing. It's why I beta-read for the Quill; it's why I run a roleplay board for aspiring writers; it's why I do lots of things. It's why I write, because if I didn't, I couldn't edit and finesse what I write.

So this NaNoWriMo thing leads me to a question that perhaps the lovely [livejournal.com profile] mme_publisher or the inimitable [livejournal.com profile] jaylake could answer: what is the status of something that's been published publicly on the web in segments so far as first publishing rights goes? Just curious.

Rambling.

Hector update: nothing to update.

Bebop update: watched the 24-25-26 triad of near-perfection with [livejournal.com profile] lostinapapercup today. Those 3 get harder every time.

Dogstar update: getting settled very nicely in our new location. [livejournal.com profile] sosirius had a birthday. There was karaoke. [livejournal.com profile] little_werecub sang "Brass in Pocket." [livejournal.com profile] mr_c_weasley... well, Charlie just watched. 3 is enough there. I'm glad to be pared down.

M'ways update: I'm back to four. That's the upper limit. I may not bring [livejournal.com profile] wizard_howell in before Thanksgiving; I haven't decided. I'll have to see how I feel, and what opportunities present itself. [livejournal.com profile] bothbutneither is actually being sociable, bless his soul. [livejournal.com profile] _dragon_fang_ is recuperating from his close encounter at Saint Paul's Cathedral. And last but certainly not least, [livejournal.com profile] not_that_spike is on Earth, or just leaving. He'll be back soon enough but in the meantime, he and [livejournal.com profile] stbethadettes are having a hell of a futuristic adventure. That's... almost so much fun it ought to be illegal.

Question of the day: Lumos or Otakon?

I am done rambling and wasting all y'all's time. Tell me I'm not the only one who has days where they feel just kind of useless?
