My Brain is Fried

I can't do everything, all the time, any more. Therefore, I've decided to cede Real Life in favor of roleplay.
Make it so.
Actually, I'd better not, because then I can't go see Sting and Annie Lennox tomorrow night. I'll put that retire-my-real-life plan on hold until the weekend.
A friend of mine from the past, with whom I hadn't talked in many years, had successful quintuple-bypass surgery on Monday. I spoke with him on Sunday and he was understandably scared to death, but he was so happy I called him. And I was glad to talk with him, too, and I called him today and he's back to being his own old cranky self. I was very glad to hear him that way, instead of frightened. I'm going to try to see him and his wife over Thanksgiving when we're close to Boston.
That is all for now. Multiple personalities beckon - and if you've never listened to Kashtin, you should. They broke up a while ago but they were such a lovely, lovely band. Hail Canada.
