Rubbing Hands Together Gleefully
Jul. 21st, 2003 09:52 amGetting the background story in gear. Almost ready. Now, I just need to find our four-legged diviner (anyone like Centaurs, particularly?), and set up the rules and the FAQ--which will be required reading.
Makes me remember why I hated being a technical writer. You work for days and days sweating over a hot computer writing down all the information that anyone could possibly need to know... and no one bloody reads it, not a bit of it.
Sigh. I'm much happier now. My friend Tami referred to me last night late in email as... wait, I'll give you her quote directly: Sometimes it seems I'm a bit energetic and friends envy me for my drive, but as I learn more about your various outlets you put me to shame... you're a regular Energizer Bunny.
I'm not sure how many people out there would agree, but all compliments graciously accepted.
Oh, and the movie update, promised my darling sweetheart that yes, we would go see Johnny English tonight. What is it about men and movies that look sooooooo ridiculous in previews? Will review tomorrow, perhaps.
