Let's see what happens because... just because I don't have enough other stuff to do. I'm not sure I'll make anyone's day, but I'll do my best.

What did everyone do during the LJ downtime? I wrote bios for some of my RP characters. I finished my beta reading. I was housebound because of a lovely ice storm that had all the roads closed. I watched football with Mitch and played with the cats. I braved the sheer sheet of ice that is the front path out of our house to go feed the stray cat who's been living in our garage since before Thanksgiving, and went and filled the bird feeders too. We've had a flock of Varied Thrushes hanging about all winter and they're very beautiful.

And now that LJ is back, it's one of those cases of "I can't live without you! Oh, you're back again, are you?" So I'm off to clean up and do a few things I've been wanting to do but didn't have the energy for lately. And seeing as how tomorrow is a holiday and we all have the day off before Mitch leaves for his two-week extravaganza... did I mention he's going to Majorca? Damn. Of all the places I don't get to go.

ice storm that had all the roads closed

We got our two new Arabian horses just before the ice storms hit here. Spent several days walking them around their new home (coral) to get them use to the fence, lay of the ground, etc. There is nothing more pathetic then watching a 30 something woman in big yellow Wellingtons try and walk on ice while leading a horse who is not sure of his footing either.

On that note let me see if I can think of some things to say on your account:
