Irritating Day

Just... irritating, on so many levels I can't even begin to complain.

So I won't.

Because Captain Jack is curled up sitting on my lap and I can't vent with a warm cat there.

I went without caffeine today, yeah? and I've had a headache all day. No matter how much water I've had. So it proves that a) Starbucks is evil and b) I love coffee. The other thing I will love is that after this week, I have two weeks where I don't have to get up at the crack of dawn to drive Hannah to school. I can actually sleep late(r).

Must do some beta reading. Suddenly I have four more pieces in the backlog. On another note, good news and bad news: I saw two movies I wanted to get today at Frye's. Bad news? Hannah was cranky and I couldn't shop. I'll have to go tomorrow. Sid and Nancy and This is Spinal Tap for $9.99 each.

Alas. Ear wax.

Ah, sleep. The energizer of gods. Must be why the Egyptians saw cats as gods. With 18 hours of sleep on the average, they must have been super charged! Of course, my Willy goes for about 23 hours, now, with occasional breaks for litter and food, but at 15 years old he needs his extra rest. :D
