Yes, at least it wasn't a sweep.

But we did turn the tv off in disgust when they couldn't win it in the 9th. At that point, I felt they deserved to lose. (And I deserved some sleep).

Spoken like a true Yankees fan: for shame!!! Bah. They probably played themselves out last night and won't win again this year, but at least they won one. They do have it in them to win the next three in a row if the bullpen can perform.

But hey, I'm a Red Sox fan. I'm used to disappointment.

More seriously, heh. I am not an avid follower of baseball, and the Jays are where my loyalty lies. But I secondarily cheer for Boston, and desperately want them to beat the Yanks. But there's only so much empathy and sympathy I can give before it feels like I'm going to break.

(Now, for football and hockey, I'm an endless fount.)
