Just. Kinda. Spike.

After work this morning
cedricsmistress and Hannah and I went out for sushi, and I realized when I was there that I was wearing my Spike shirt. All that was missing was... well, a lot: the cigarette, the green hair, the tie, the too-short trousers, the combat boots (although the shoes I had on were the right shape in actuality), and the requisite bandages from being trampled.
I found out that it's hard to do the Spike Slouch and then walk anywhere. This is why when I finally do turn into an anime male it's going to have to be James. He runs upright. And blue is a better hair color for me than green.
[amused grin]
With the Sugar Quill down, it's horribly quiet. And I have a horrible song stuck in my brain, so I'm going to go put on more Led Zeppelin instead because... Communication Breakdown is better and far more appropriate than the Who. But all this vintage rock & roll has me reminiscing so fondly of my stage crew and security days and some day somewhere I will catalog all the people I had the chance to work with; it's quite the eclectic list I'm sure when all is said and done.
And train of thought on this brings me to our local pub fare at McMenamin's, where they serve a Communication Breakdown Burger. Not being a meat eater myself I haven't had one, but I have always looked fondly on the name.
