Zzzzzzzzzzzz.
I only got a couple hours' sleep last night.
Occupational hazard of living in a fictional character's brain sometimes: I got
sosirius's Azkaban nightmares (I love the feel of shackles in the morning!) and they woke me up, and then the happy little birdies were all up singing at 4:15 in the a.m., so that pretty much meant any chance of getting any more decent sleep was too fucked to happen.
Tomorrow night I get to chaperone a group of kids at an Oregon Trail Overnight. I suppose I should get packing. At least I found those cheesy little emergency rain ponchos for $0.99 each and got two, since Hannah and I don't have raincoats. And yeah, I live in Oregon and I don't have a raincoat; sue me. I don't carry an umbrella either. It's just water.
I had to draw a huge map of the US for the backdrop for Hannah's class school play. And then do a bunch of identifying marks on it; I signed up to help but not to do the whole stage set. No one else volunteered. It was so sad!
OK, I'm too tired and cynical to continue. Wish me luck on the school overnight. Half the class asked me to go as Sirius... I'm considering it.

The day of Hannah's party, Cap'n Jack went out in the morning and disappeared. For many many hours, and I was afraid we'd lost him. I was in my yard (we've got 5+ acres to look through) and I thought, damn! why don't I just transform into Pad... oh. Shit. I can't really do that... but wouldn't it be awesome if... Padfoot could find Jack... damn.
So, I'll have to bring Padfoot with me. Lots of the kids are bringing stuffed animals. Why not the moms too?

Don't mind me. It usually only happens when I'm highly stressed and exhausted.
It's how I write, by the way. I like to live the details in my brain.
