We're driving home from school yesterday and Hannah goes... 'Mom, want to know what my favorite bands are? '

I said 'Sure, honey,' knowing full well that most kids her age like Avril Lavigne and that kind of pop stuff. Ooh, Radio Disney!

Then this little voice from the back seat pops up: 'I can't decide if my favorite band is The Clash or The Police.'

Heh! Just wait till I start letting her listen to the Sex Pistols and the Damned.

On a related note, way back during the first few weeks of school all the kids did bios of their families. Hannah's went: My mom is a massage therapist. She used to be a punk-rocker.'

She's so damn cute!

She likes Peter Gabriel too (particularly In Your Eyes and Solsbury Hill). And I'm not rubbing it in about Sting and Annie, really, I'm not. I checked for you; Sting's only doing solo in your part of the world on this tour. Apparently The Grand Diva is only with him on specific dates.

Sorry. But if you want to come to Portland for the show, let me know before tickets go on sale Saturday. It's a Thursday night. :D
