These pairs don't match!

Look at this.

I swear, there's a reason why some of my favorite sci-fi adventures I've ever written have taken place on Europa. It's so beautiful.

In other news, happy Sunday. I'm pleased to report that our supposed-to-be-hurricane-force-wind-storm has (fingers crossed) so far left us with heat and power. I thought for a while last night that we would lose electricity but it never happened, so I stayed up till 2 watching Howl's Moving Castle... as if I can't do it any day I want. At some point I'll have a big something to say about the differences between book-Howl and movie-Howl but not yet. I will say I still prefer the book, but that's not so very unusual for me. I'm easily fond of original source materials.

We have a writing challenge. I don't have anything particular in mind for it, but It shouldn't be that hard. Gifts are gifts and I have a lot of characters who aren't used to getting them, so that should be fun. Everyone is invited to play, so don't be shy.

Also, [livejournal.com profile] outpost_12. That's all. Have a fine rest of your weekend, one and all!
