So.

It's a new week, and the Red Sox are World Series winners, and that means I won't be tied to beisbol every night any more. For those of you who say "my goodness, are you one of these fair-weather Red Sox fans? You're in Oregon, how can you love the Red Sox?" I say... hahahahaha.

I've been watching the Red Sox for more than 30 years.

And that's why the Sox will never win the World Series. See? They're cultural icons. They're even on Lost.

I have... all this stuff to say and no words to say it with. Let me keep it to the simplest thing: I have more Cat's Eye to watch. I'm up through episode ten. Have any of you seen it? I'd talk about it with you if you have.

If my brother-in-law weren't from Boston, I wouldn't understand the Red Sox nation. He's a good ambassador. Congratulations, Sox! They certainly earned that title. I felt sorry for the Rockies, but it just underscores how much better the AL is than the NL.

...or it underscores how much better a team the Red Sox are than the Rockies. I did feel bad for them, but they don't have the bazillion years of waiting and dashed hopes behind them like the Sox did until 2004. Their turn will come, and hopefully it won't take them 86 years.
