Wow, some of your friends have great stories for their usernames. My LJ username story is boring as hell. I was hoping to use my LJ not just to share with my online friends, but also with my family, which is scattered all over the country. So I chose a username that would be recognizable to those who know me. Heather is my name. 916 is my birthday - September 16. Nothing more original than that.

I know... I win the "Dull as Dirt" award. :)
