Oh, yay, you're all here!

Summertime haikus

Hector is not here
Away now since last Sunday
It seems he is gone

My daughter's in camp
She will learn to draw and paint
I hope she has fun

The best anime
Cowboy Bebop, from Sunrise
Watch it: it's that good

Sadly, work won't stop
Just because the calendar
Tells us it's summer

Leave me a haiku
5 - 7- 5 syllables
that's the formula

Had an interview
They've got to interview more
So I know nothing

because I love you!

It seems I may have
acquired a sweatshop job.
Only 'may' because

I must return and
demonstrate my skillz to see
if they're mad enough

to go sew in a
professional-type shop thing.
Shame I'm not Sophie.

Some day perhaps if
Annie runs out far enough
She'll meet up Hector.

Then we can have fun
Trying to catch two pesky
Critters together.

Hurricane season -
Warm rain floods at 4 P.M.
Threatens just dry feet.

Haiku will pass time
Car alarm outside won't stop
I could use ear plugs

Tonight I watch Lost
And maybe some Bebop too
Want to be my date?

The car alarm stopped
Where am I going with this?
Moose in the moonlight

What? It actually works on a couple of levels.

We need to thread with
The Milliways Beth and Spike
Ask howzbethjunyer?

I failed to mention
how I appreciate you.
Ain't that right, cupcake?

[identity profile] alemara.livejournal.com 2007-06-18 11:11 pm (UTC)(link)
Technically haiku
has to mention a season
in order to count

on the other hand
"hearing a toad croak in spring"
is a little lame

these are kind of, too:
"the red disc of summer sun"
and "autumn leaves fall"

so maybe you do
have the right idea, besides
they are just for fun.

Is very hard and stressful

Hector please come home
I hope Hannah has fun, too
Must find Bebop here

Hey, haikus are fun
I should post some in Gameface
Or in b-ball blog
