Technically haiku
has to mention a season
in order to count

on the other hand
"hearing a toad croak in spring"
is a little lame

these are kind of, too:
"the red disc of summer sun"
and "autumn leaves fall"

so maybe you do
have the right idea, besides
they are just for fun.
