It's Sunday Morning

...so it's personality quiz time. Found this via [livejournal.com profile] muffinbutt because credit where credit is due, etc.

Benevolent Creator

"Benevolent Creator" makes me sound so good. But it's an interesting test, if for no other reason than it made me thoughtful about my answers.

I thought it was interesting, too. I normally can't sit through tests like that, mostly because they make you pick one option or the other -- or worse, make you think about "Always true, somewhat true, more true than false, neutral.." gah. I was a Benevolent Architect.. it was a neat way to look at things. It seemed pretty accurate but in a way that I don't normally see myself. :)

Okay, it's totally freaky, but I got the same result. I often get the same result as you on memes, but those are silly things like what dessert are you or where is your dream city. You're more assertive than I am, nor do you seem as worried about pleasing people as I get. Both are things I really admire about you. So why'd we get the same result?

Heyyyyyyyy. Benevolent Architect makes me think you're out there working for Habitat for Humanity. I bet you would, too. :)

....I don't know; because imitation is the sincerest form of flattery?

I think it's easy on those things to make the answers the way we wish we were. I'd have to go back and try again in a few days and see if I get the same result this time. Also, I'd have to take it in a few different guises -- sometimes I test as, say, Spike or Sirius or one of those guys, just for fun, and to see how different they are from me. I'd hope they'd test out as more masculine than I am, but I understand that my high femininity score is from my emotional... largesse, for lack of a better term.

I think all tests like this are flawed simply because we're administering them to ourselves, and it's really hard to be objective about ourselves. I'd do it, say, three times in three different moments of introspection and apply a bell curve if I wanted accuracy. Otherwise, it's just a little internet quiz and should only be used for entertainment purposes... I think. Hell, I could make my answers seem like Jack Sparrow one day and Norrington the next if I wanted.

Yes, it's an internet quiz, but it seemed more grounded in a little bit of psychoscience than most. Just curious, where are you on Myers-Briggs? I'm an ENFP.

I'm ENFP, too! Weird! I don't encounter all that many. :)

Heh. I used to do Habitat fairly often, and I've been thinking I should do it again. Good call! :D

*hugs and loves to G*

Me three, although I like to tell people I'm an ESPN.

Or an ESPN2 if they have cable.
