Just like the 20 songs meme, here are 20 lines or bits of verse from poems both old and new, popular and obscure. Some I believe will be easy to identify but others more difficult. Your mission, should you decide to accept it, is to see which lines you can identify.

Without cheating, because looking them up on the web might be too easy. Or cheat if you have to because this is hard, but if you cheat, you have to read the whole poem. And tell me what you thought of it.

I had coffee with mme_publisher this morning. We had a blast. Well, wait. I can't speak for both of us. Only for myself, but I sure had fun. I love you all, but some of you are just so damn far away and some days virtual coffee just isn't the same thing. So, my dear, I found all those books we were talking about and will bring them this afternoon. And I didn't know a single one of your songs, isn't that sad?

What else? No one working on the house today. I see we got a second lumber delivery but that's about it, and that's fine; it means tomorrow will be the start of big things and then it will end for the weekend and pick up again Monday, and I'm not working this weekend so I can actually sleep in. How mundane, no?

OK. Going to post this before I get distracted again, like I have been for the past hour. I'll probably spam you all more later.
