The series has 26 episodes ("sessions") and the movie takes place between 23 and 24, I think, so there's a lot of backstory you miss. It's probably really not the best place to start. Then again, I started with #26 and worked my way around to all of it. It's worth watching all of it but it's addictive, I tell you! (In an entirely good way.)
