Six Things

I've always liked the number six. In numerology, that's the number associated with my birth name. I have... well, till last week, six cats. And probably still do, 'cause Jack's out there somewhere.

So in honour of the number six, I'm doing a new thing just for fun. I'm picking six random things that I like and telling everyone about them.

Six Things

1. Book - Selected Poems and Two Plays, William Butler Yeats. The best of the best.


2. Movie - Lost in Translation. One of Bill Murray's finest moments.


3. Magazine - Us Weekly, and before you laugh, it's because they finally hired my brother-in-law David on staff.


4. Web Site - Hollywood Stock Exchange, where Gary Oldman made me a pretty penny yesterday and I sure wish my $78 million in my portfolio there was real.


5. TV Network - CNN for its coverage of Hurricane Frances, it kept me awake till after 2am with its graphics and its placing of the sturdier news anchors in the windiest areas, while reserving nice safe less windy areas for the likes of Anderson Cooper, the wee one.


6. City - Amsterdam... mit slagrum. Time to go back again.
